Frédérique Cauffmann
The intestinal microbiota has recently come to be regarded as one of the most important factors in slimming and weight loss. The various intestinal micro-organisms promote a number of different processes. These include the anaerobic metabolism of proteins and the fermentation of non-digestible dietary fibres.
A disturbed intestinal flora, altered by a poor diet or a lack of certain ingredients essential to the well-being of the human body, can lead to the creation of excess fat.
